My Fitness Guide!

Hello!
As most of you have gathered I have been in the gym a lot since I started my membership in March. So I thought I'd write a guide on everything I do in the gym from what I do to what I wear! So here we go:

Classes
Body Pump - Body pump is a high energy class which uses weight and includes a lot of lunges! I've only done the class a few times but I love it. The coach is amazing, she motivates you which I find helps me because it pushes me to do better and not give up! 

Dance Fit - I have attended this since the day I joined and I love it! As you all know I'm a keen dancer and this is a aerobic like dance class, and it's very similar to zumba. The class has several routines which focus on different parts of the body. There is cardio, upper body, lower body and core. The instructor knows I suffer with bad knees so she always put alternatives in place for me which still exercise the same body parts as the squats!

Gym Workouts!
I go to the gym 2-3 times a week and after a few weeks of going I've had a 5 week programme put in place to help me shed the weight and tone the wobbly bits! Within 2 weeks I started to see the difference in my body, I feel so much more toned already. I still have 2 weeks left though so fingers crossed!

Workout Programme
I asked for a programme to help me focus on certain body parts and so I had a structure to follow while I was in the gym. So I thought I'd share my programme with you!
Warm Up:
Treadmill
5 Minutes
Speed 7.0
Weights:
Bicep Curls
16 reps
4KG

Tricep Dips
16 reps
Body Weight

Hip Abductors
16 reps
20kg

Hip Adductors
16 reps
15kg

Chest Press
16 reps
14.5kg

Seated Row
16 reps
14.5kg

Hip Thrust Hold
Hold for 5 minutes
No weight
Cardio
Cross Trainer
15 minutes
Level 3-4
Repeat Weights



Abs:
Sit Ups
20reps
No Weight

Flutter Kicks
20reps
No Weight

Oblique Twists
20reps
3kg ball
Back:
Back extension
20reps
No weight
Repeat Back and Abs



Cool Down
Bike
5 minutes
Level 3-4
Workout Clothing
Having the correct clothing is so important when working out, especially footwear.

I usually just wear a t-shirt over the top.
