The Journey!
Had to get up at 6.30 but I was pumped and ready for the day ahead! I did my hair, and shoved some breakfast down my neck before making my way to the train station with my best friend Amy! Our train was at 8.24 but got delayed by an hour so we arrived later then expected but we got to enjoy first class! I managed to get shut in automatic doors and from that moment I knew this day was going to be an adventure!
Arriving at MOVE IT
After a long journey I finally arrived at MOVE IT and we got escorted up to the VIP lounge and we got into our dance kit and headed straight into the atmosphere!
Purestar Commercial!
My first class was with Ryan Jenkins and we did a routine to the song Swine by lady Gaga! The atomosphere in the class was amazing and the routine was awesome. The class was fast moving but highly enjoyable. Ryan was very enthusiastic and such an amazing teacher. One of my close friends from Lincoln was also in this class which made it all the more better.
Christabelle field - Street
I've done very few street classes in my life but this was amazing. I wanted to try something new and this stood out for me. The class was fast moving and slightly more challenging for me but I cracked the routine after we went through technique. We had an amazing teacher!
Shopping!
I couldn't come to the biggest dance event of the year and not buy any new dance kit. I bought a crop top from Pineapple and A pineapple crop top from Dance Direct. I also got myself a bargin with my Dance it, Move it, Mardi Gra it top which they even cut the way I wanted it. I went £14 all together on these 3 items. I treated myself to a chocolate fountain strawberry and marshmallow kebab after all my classes which I followed with fruit smoothie to seem healthy!
I also picked up leaflets and prospectuses for performing arts school as I'm now looking at studying dance at a University level once I finish my A-levels.
Enjoying VIP
Me and my friend decided we were going to go VIP for MOVE IT this year and it was so worth it! We had a nice chilled quiet room to sit in when we wanted a break and we also got an awesome goodie bag when we arrived. When visiting the cloakroom we were also very lucky to bump into Chris and Wes who were both really sweet! We also got to stand at the front of the stage which was ideal for us small folk.
Enjoying the main stage
We watched several performances but we only caught one full section. Luckly we caught the last one which was amazing! We got to watch Boy Blue Entertainment and The Pulse Collective! I was blown away by every single one of the routines in this set and I got them all recorded.
My overall experience this year was outstanding and I can't wait until next year! I will be putting together a video from MOVE IT shortly so i'll keep you posted! Thank you so much guys!!
